Rooted in Resistance

Senator Menjivar, Mayor Bass, Supervisor Horvath and Somos Familia Valle will kick off San Fernando Valley Pride at 11 AM with a Rally at Van Nuys Blvd. and Sherman Way. Then, we’re going to get loud as we March down Van Nuys Blvd., showing the San Fernando Valley the united community standing Rooted in Resistance with our LGBTQ+ neighbors. Arriving at the Van Nuys Civic Center at 14410 Sylvan St. by 1 PM, the Pride Festival will feature a resource fair, constituent services from local elected officials, live entertainment, including world-renowned performers Mariachi Arcoiris, food trucks, art and healing activities, and more!
